The city is home to The Mid-Hudson Children's Museum is designed to be an educational destination for Poughkeepsie area kids where they can explore and learn in a fun and exciting environment. They do this by providing a number of interactive and hands on experiences for children. One new exhibit at the museum is the "Hudson River Dive Bell". In this exhibit kids can go into a simulated diving bell and pretend to descend into the Hudson River. Kids can view fish that live in the Hudson River and later they can even catch replicas of fish with a robotic arm. Your kids will love it.
